It's easy to see why the sun-drenched Caribbean is regarded as the highlight of England's overseas touring calendar. Made up of over 7,000 islands, the stunning West Indies has a character all of its own and welcomes visitors with open arms and a warm, friendly smile. Famous the world over for its aqua marine seas and pristine beaches, each island has a unique character that provides the perfect backdrop to the excitement and carnival atmosphere of world class cricket. Antigua & Barbados are perennial favourites with their white sandy beaches, buzzing beach bars and friendly, cricket mad locals. Affectionately known as 'Spice Island', sleepy Grenada is a new venue for England this time around, however due to excessive hotel rates and a serious lack of supply, Grenada will not be featuring on our escorted tour programme but can be included as an ad-hoc side trip on an unescorted basis.

Fully Escorted Touring

Our itineraries are carefully planned to combine the excitement of calypso cricket with some rest and relaxation in some of the most idyllic locations in the world. All tours are hosted by our ever popular cricket celebrities and include international fights, hotels, all transfers, social gatherings and special island excursions. We have chosen Virgin Atlantic as our preferred airline due to their excellent international service throughout the Caribbean. All flights/timings shown on your are based upon current schedules and are subject to change by the airlines.

Solo travellers

Many of the people who join us on one of our holidays are travelling by themselves, so if you’re a solo traveller, rest assured that you’ll be with other like-minded people. On any given departure, you’ll find a mix of couples and friends travelling together, as well as other solo travellers. One of the great benefits of our trips is that they allow you to be independent but provide security and company whenever you choose.

The social side

Welcome drink receptions, cricket forum and tour dinners are planned to let you mingle with your fellow travellers, tour host and local escorts in an informal and social setting. These popular gatherings allow you to debate England’s current performance, while your tour host provides his own personal insight and analysis of the England team.

Match tickets

Cricket is a national passion and is played and supported with great enthusiasm throughout the country. All match tickets are guaranteed as we purchase directly from the West Indies Cricket Board. Test match tickets are sold to international supporters on a season ticket basis (5 days), with no refund for unused tickets. The featured holidays do not include the cost of the match tickets as the West Indies Cricket Board have yet to confirm ticket categories and prices. Tickets will be charged to you at the same cost as we are charged - please note the ticket charges will be higher than the face value shown on the tickets as booking fees are applied to tour operators who block tickets well in adavance of the match.

Island highlights

We have included at least one excursion on each island that will capture the heart and soul of the country. As you travel around the island you will also enjoy some great food and a genuinely warm and hospitable people.

For anyone looking for a less inclusive cricket holiday we can provide travel arrangments that simply include your flight, hotel and match tickets - no celebrity escorts, functions, excursions, tour merchandise or transfers will be included. What to expect

The Caribbean welcomes you with open arms and smiles. Each island has a character of its own, from simple and laid-back, to exotic and sophisticated. The pace of life is relaxed, service sometimes a little slow but then this is the Caribbean! Tourist facilities vary from luxury hotels to inexpensive guesthouses, you can dine in world-class restaurants or at roadside kiosks, shop in large duty-free malls or at open-air village markets. The carnival atmosphere during the cricket is electric with every boundary, every wicket, every ball greeted by a blast of reggae music and dancing – traditional village cricket this certainly isn’t!

ANTIGUA

Antigua's boasts 365 beaches, 'one for each day of the year.' While the count may be suspect, you won't have a problem getting sand in your shoes or finding reefs and wrecks for diving and snorkelling. Antigua has a maritime heritage and still has some of the best sailing in the region. As you travel around the island you will notice a colonial atmosphere, from the old stone windmills of long-abandoned sugar plantations to the renovated naval base of Nelson's Dockyard (named after Admiral Horatio himself).

BARBADOS

Barbados is stylish and sophisticated with all the coral sand beaches you could ever want to see. Bajans, as the islanders call themselves, are as West Indian as any of their neighbours, and have tended to borrow rather than adopt English customs. You'll notice this the first time you check out a local cricket match, since the gentlemanly English game has a totally different rhythm here. Nonetheless, there are old stone Anglican churches in every parish; horse races on Saturdays and portraits of Queen Elizabeth hang on many a wall. There’s plenty of action beyond the usual watersports with hiking, golf, botanical gardens and historic plantation houses to explore.

GRENADA

Often dubbed 'Spice Island', Grenada is famous for its nutmeg, ginger and vanilla, as well as its mountain forests and beautiful beaches. Relaxing and peaceful, it’s low on evening entertainment but fabulous for authentic Caribbean cuisine, idyllic beaches and beautiful scenery.
