ITINERARY

Sun 05 March - Gatwick / Barbados

Depart London Gatwick on your Virgin Atlantic flight to Barbados

Arrive Barbados,  complete customs and immigration formalities, and proceed to the arrivals halls where you will be met and transferred to your hotel for a 7 night stay.  

Mon 06 - Wed 08 March 

Barbados is stylish and sophisticated with all the coral sand beaches you could ever want to see. Bajans, as the islanders call themselves, are as West Indian as any of their neighbours and have tended to borrow rather than adopt English customs. You'll notice this the first time you visit Kensington Oval where the gentlemanly English game has a totally different rhythm. Nonetheless, there are old stone Anglican churches in every parish; horse races on Saturdays and portraits of Queen Elizabeth hang on many a wall. There’s plenty of action beyond the usual watersports with hiking, golf, botanical gardens and historic plantation houses to explore. A welcome drinks reception will be held on Tuesday evening  to introduce you to Barbados, your tour host and fellow travellers.

Thu 9 March     

3rd ODI      WEST INDIES v ENGLAND 

The final One Day International takes place at Kensington Oval. Return transfers will be provided.

Fri 10 - Sat 11 March    

After the fun and excitement of the cricket it's time to head to the beach and find a comfy sunlounger.  On Friday evening we have arranged an early evening 'Cricket Forum' hosted by Bob Taylor who will review the series and look forward to England's Ashes tour to Australia at the end of the year.  Drinks and finger food will be provided.

Sun 12 March - Barbados / Gatwick

Enjoy a final day soaking up the warm Caribbean Sunshine before it's time to meet in the hotel lobby for your transfer to Grantley Adams International Airport for your flight home.  Arrive Gatwick early the following morning.
