ITINERARY

Wed 30 November - Heathrow / Delhi

Depart Heathrow on your overnight flight to Delhii with Jet Airways.

Thu 01 December - Delhi

Arrive Delhi. clear customes and immigrations where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Tonight you are invited to join you host and felllow travellers for a weclome dinner and introduction to your Golden Triangle Tour..

Fri 2 December - Golden Triangle Tour - Delhi

After breakfast, depart the hotel and enjoy a tour of Old & New Delhi including visits to India Gate, the Red Fort, Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandi was cremated in 1948, the Presidential Palace and Humayun's Tomb.  Lunch is included at Lodi Garden Restaurant.

Sat 3 December - Golden Triangle Tour - Agra

Enjoy breakfast before its time to drive from Delhi to Agra and check-in at your hotel. In the afternoon we will visit  the forbidding Agra Fort before heading to the stunningTaj Mahal as the sun sets over Agra. Dont forget your camera! Buffet dinner is included.

Sun 4 December - Golden Triangle Tour - Jaipur

After breakfast, depart for the pink city of Jaipur, visiting the ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri  en route.  Enjoy lunch at Laxmi Niwas Palace in Bharatpur and then proceed to Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan. 

Mon 5 December - Golden Triangle Tour - Jaipur

Following breakfast we head to the ancient palace of Amber Fort in the Aravalli Hills, which is reached by jeep. Enjoy lunch at Raj Palace before embarking on a city tour of Jaipur including a drive past of Hawa Mahal (Palace of WInds), Jai Singh's Observatory built in the 17th Century and City Palace.  Time will be allowed for you to explore the local bazaars. Buffet dinner is included.

Tue 6 December - Jaipur / Mumbai

Transfer to Jaipur Airport for the flight to Mumbai. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel for a 7 night stay.

Known as the Gateway of India, Mumbai is a vibrant mix of ancient and modern, contemporary and cosmopolitan. Enjoy superb cuisine and shopping as well as great sightseeing. Make the most of today and relax and acclimatise to your new surroundings. Tonight you are invited to join your fellow travellers and tour host for ‘Welcome Drinks & Canapes’.

Wed 7 December - City Tour of Mumbai

After breakfast enjoy a half day sightseeing tour including the Gateway of India,  Crawford Market, Victoria Terminus – now a World Heritage site, the famous Dabbawalas at Churchgate Station and then experience a locla train ride to Dhobi Ghats municipal laundry before returning to the hotel.

Thu 8 to Mon 12 December 4th TEST   INDIA v ENGLAND, WANKHEDE Stadium Return hotel - stadium transfers will be provided..  During the Test, join Clive Radley for a Q&A Cricket Forum over a few drinks and canapes.  A farewell dinner will take place on your final night in Mumbai.

Tue 13 Dec - Mumbai / London
Enjoy your final breakfast in India before it's time to check out and meet in the hotel lobby for the transfer to Mumbai Airport.  Board your flight to London Heathrow arriving later the same day
