This winter's tour promises to be a fantastic series as England go head-to-head with a South African side rapidly closing in on the number one spot in world cricket. We have created a range of exciting itineraries designed to bring you ‘up close and personal’ to the breathtaking beauty of the ‘Rainbow Nation’. Official Match Tickets
As we purchase our tickets directly from the home Cricket Boards or their appointed agents, match tickets are guaranteed and sold to you at cost price. Prices have yet to be finalised by the South African Cricket Board so match tickets will be added to your booking as soon as prices have been confirmed. Test match tickets are sold to international supporters on a ‘season ticket’ basis, with no refund for unused tickets. One Day tickets are sold on a per match basis. We endeavour to purchase the best available tickets, where possible under cover and in reserved sections of stands.
In addition to local tour managers, our ever popular cricket hosts, Bob Taylor and Norman Gifford look forward to hosting you in South Africa.
A welcome drinks reception is planned upon your arrival in South Africa to allow you to meet your fellow travellers, tour host and local tour manager. Informal gatherings (Cricket Forums) are also planned during each tour when you can join your fellow travellers and tour host for drinks as you debate England’s performance. If you are away over the festive season, we also include Christmas & New Year’s Eve celebrations, as well as a farewell drink on all tours.

Solo Travellers
Many of the people who join us on one of our holidays are travelling by themselves, so if you’re a solo traveller, rest assured that you’ll be with other like-minded people. On any given departure, you’ll find a mix of couples and friends travelling together, as well as other solo travellers. One of the great benefits of our trips is that they allow you to be independent but provide security and company whenever you choose.
Hotel Selection - 4 star or better on all escorted tours
Accommodation is usually high up on the list of importance on any holiday. At the end of the day’s cricket or sightseeing, you’ll want to freshen up and relax in a hotel that makes you feel at home. That’s why we never skimp on quality and carefully choose our hotels and game lodges for their superior level of comfort and service, excellent amenities, friendly staff and convenient and safe location. Please read our hotel descriptions in conjunction with other tourist information for the areas you will be visiting.
An African safari evokes mystery, wonder and above all else adventure! Encountering wildlife in their natural habitat is a highlight of any holiday to the ‘Rainbow Nation’ which is why we have included a safari on all our featured ODI and 2 Test holidays. Enjoy a minimum of 2 nights/3 days in the bush on full board and 2 game drives each day.
Flights
Our preferred carriers for South Africa are South African Airways (economy travel) and Virgin Atlantic (economy or premium economy). All flights/timings shown in the brochure are based upon current schedules and are subject to change by the airlines. Business class supplements on request.
Passport, Visa & Vaccinations
All British visitors require a standard 10 year passport, valid for at least 30 days beyond your planned date of return to the UK, with a minimum of two consecutive blank pages for South African immigration formalities. British citizens do not require a visa for stays of less than one month. Currently there are no compulsory vaccinations for travel to the region although the following are recommended: Tetanus, Polio, Hepatitis A, Diphtheria and typhoid.
