Roundtrip transfers to/from SuperSport Park will be provided. Transfer time from Sandton is about 30 minutes.

Mon 23 Nov    Johannesburg / Mabula Private Game Reserve

Just two hours drive north of Johannesburg and you arrive at the African wonder that is  Mabula. Stay is based on full board. This 12,000-hectare, malaria free reserve is home to an abundance of wildlife and birds, including the world famous Big Five. On arrival enjoy a welcome drink followed by lunch, then relax at the lodge's sparkling pool or in the Buck and Lion Bar before embarking on a late afternoon game drive. Remember to bring along a light coat, binoculars and camera. At sunset the landrovers stop in the bush for a refreshing ‘sundowner’. As darkness approaches the trackers will scan the bush with powerful spotlights for any nocturnal wildlife. Return to the camp for dinner in the Lodge Restaurant.

Tue 24 Nov    Mabula Game Drives

Up early today for hot drinks and biscuits before embarking on a dawn safari as the sun rises over the African bush. Mabula is home to lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, hippo, crocodile, rhino, impala and giraffe. Return to the camp for a hearty breakfast. Spend a relaxing day by the pool or perhaps take a bush walk with your ranger. Enjoy lunch followed by a siesta to make up for your early morning start. Late afternoon, embark on another exciting game drive into the African bushveld before returning to the camp for a traditional boma dinner under the stars.

Wed 25 Nov    Mabula / Cape Town

Another early start for a final game drive in the African Bush. Return to the camp for breakfast, then collect your luggage and transfer to Johannesburg airport (approx 2 hours). Fly to Cape Town where you will be met on arrival and transferred to the Arabella Westin Hotel for 3 nights. Only a 5 minute ride (complimentary shuttle) from the hotel is the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront with its wide array of bars, restaurants and trendy boutiques.

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Port Elizabeth. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to the Radisson Hotel for 2 nights

Mon 30 Nov    Port Elizabeth / Durban / Drakensberg Mountains

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Durban. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the stunning Drakensberg Mountains and the luxury Champagne Sports Resort for 3 nights on half board.

Tue 01 Dec    Full Battlefields Tour

The beautiful scenery surrounding the Battlefields belies the turbulent events that have taken place. The Anglo Boer war lasted 3 years, and was to become the most costly Britain has ever fought, both in terms of money and lives lost. The most futile and bloodiest battle was the Battle of Spionkop, fought on 24 January 1900. Astoundingly, there were three men in Spionkop that day who were to influence the course of world history - General Louis Botha, Winston Churchill and Mahatma Gandhi. Includes lunch.

Roundtrip transfers to/from Sahara Stadium, Kingsmead will be provided. Day/night match. Following the match you are invited for an end of tour night cap with your tour host.

Enjoy a lazy morning before preparing for your journey home. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Johannesburg and connecting flight to London.
