Depart Heathrow on your flight to Singapore with onward connection to Perth.

Wed 15 Dec    Perth

On arrival you will be met and transferred to your chosen hotel for a 10 night stay. As you arrive in the very early hours of Wednesday morning, rooms have been booked from the 14th to allow you an immediate check-in. Perth enjoys a near perfect climate, outstanding beaches and many wonderful sightseeing opportunities. Perth’s lifestyle is easy-going with the urban landscape blending with the natural surroundings of inner-city parks and the magnificent Swan River. Tonight you are invited for a ‘Welcome to Oz drink to meet your tour host and fellow travellers.

Thu 16 - Mon 20 Dec     3rd - 3 mobile Test Perth

Venue: The WACA

Daily transfers will be provided from our featured hotels. If you prefer to walk, the ground is just a 20-30 minute walk from the city centre. The social calendar for the week includes a Sporting Traveller cricket forum with drinks and finger buffet.

Tue 21 Dec    Swan River Valley Tour

First stop is Caversham Wildlife Park famous for having bred wombats, Tasmanian devils and koalas.  The Swan River Valley is Western Australia's oldest wine growing region with many vineyards still owned by descendants of the European émigrés.  Classic varieties grown here include Chenin Blanc, Shiraz and Chardonnay along with less well-known varieties like Zinfandel.  Taste some of the best that the region has to offer and enjoy an alfresco lunch at a local winery.  On the way back to the city we make a pit stop at the Margaret River Chocolate Company where you can enjoy free chocolate tastings. 

Wed 22 Dec    Perth

Enjoy Perth's laidback lifestyle and head to one of the regions beautiful sandy beaches.

Thu 23 Dec    Rottnest Island Tour

Following a high speed ocean crossing to Rottnest, discover the hidden bays, white sandy beaches, stunning coral reefs and unique wildlife of Perth’s favourite getaway. Includes lunch and a 90 minute Eco Adventure tour of Rottnest where you will see a colony of New Zealand Fur Seals and nesting Osprey's.

Fri 24 Dec    Perth / Melbourne

Return to Perth Airport for the flight to Melbourne. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your chosen hotel for a 7 night stay. State capital Melbourne is an attractive and contemporary city offering a rich mix of theatres, festivals, art, sport, music and fine food. Easy to explore on foot or by tram, try to include a visit to Queen Victoria Market, the Rialto Observation Deck or a take a cruise down the Yarra River.

Sat 25 Dec    Christmas Lunch

After a lazy start to the day it’s time to board the coach and leave the city behind. Our Christmas lunch venue is the sumptuous Chateau Yering Hotel, situated 50 minutes drive from Melbourne in the Yarra Valley. A sweeping rose-bordered driveway takes you to the beautifully restored hotel. Once, the place for many a Victorian weekend party, it is now a gracious five star hotel.

Sun 26 - Thu 30 Dec     4th - 3 mobileTest Melbourne

Venue: The MCG

Take a leisurely stroll to the MCG which is an easy 20-25 minute walk from the city centre hotels, alternatively you can utilise the readily available tram network. The venue for the 4th Test is a truly awesome sporting stadium that will welcome a staggering 100,000 spectators to the traditional Boxing Day start of the Test. The social calendar for the week includes a Sporting Traveller cricket forum with drinks and finger buffet.

Fri 31 Dec    Melbourne / Hong Kong

Depart Melbourne on the flight to Hong Kong. On arrival make your way to the Metropark Hotel, Causeway Bay for a 2 night stopover. With an early morning arrival rooms will be be avialble for immediate check-in. A stunning contrast to the relative calm of Australia, Hong Kong is vibrant, noisy and great fun. A shopping paradise with many great bargains to be found.

Sat 1 Jan    Hong Kong

Head out and see the sights. Try to include a visit to Victoria Peak for a panoramic view of Hong Kong and Stanley Market where you can pick up some real bargains. A trip on the Star Ferry is an experience in itself and a great way to see the stunning panorama of Hong Kong Island.

Sun 2 Jan    Hong Kong / London

Enjoy a final few hours in the Far East before making your way to Central Railway Station to catch the airport express train to Hong Kong International Airport. Allow yourself plenty of time to reach the airport and to complete check in formalities.

Arrive London Heathrow early morning.
