Location: Approx 3 hours drive north of Durban.

Opinion: The tranquil thatched wooden lodges on stilts, of Ravineside Lodge, offer a ‘birds eye’ view over the ravine in this private malaria free game reserve. The surrounding bushveld is home to the ‘big 5’.
Location: Approx. 2 ½ hours drive from Johannesburg.
Rooms: Elegantly decorated bedrooms, air conditioning, ceiling fan, tea/coffee making facilities, ensuite bathroom.
Facilities: Restaurant, bar, lounge, sundecks for game viewing, swimming pool, shop. Horseback safari’s and helicopter trips available.

Location: Approx. 3½ hours drive from Cape Town.

Facilities: Khanni Lodge – dinning room, swimming pool. Tilney Manor – dinning room, swimming pool, spa, private veranda.

Opinion: The only private reserve in the Eastern Cape, Shamwari is a natural addition to any Garden Route tour and has been voted ‘The World's Leading Conservation Company and Game Reserve’ for the last 5 years. Long Lee Manor is a beautifully restored Edwardian Manor and offers a distinctive colonial feel, with wonderful views over game reserve.
Location: Approximately 45 minutes drive from Port Elizabeth.
Rooms: Large luxury rooms all with ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, underfloor heating, phone, satellite T.V and view over the plains.
Facilities: Dining room and open barn with central fire, also for dinning, two swimming pools, tennis, garden lounge and shop.
