Farmstead has gained recognition for its mammoth par-six 18th hole. The tee box on the 767-yard hole is set in South Carolina, and the green is actually in North Carolina. Is it a gimmick? Not really. It's different, but it's a well-designed hole. The remaining 17 holes are also a delight to play.

PineHills was designed in 1992 on the site of the Pines Course at Myrtlewood on the Grand Strand. Arthur Hills transformed this pioneering course into a contemporary design that immediately became a "must play" for resident and visiting golfers alike. The design was nominated for Golf Digest's 1994 "Best New Resort Course" and is widely regarded as one of the best maintained courses on the Grand Strand.

Rated 4.5 stars by Golf Digest's "Best Places to Play.", The Witch is a must play. Course designer Dan Maples built 4,000 feet of bridges just to connect all the holes. Upon opening in 1990, P.B. Dye's Moorland Course was crowned one of the "Top Five New Public Courses in America" by Golf Digest. Much like P.B.'s father's design at PGA West, the target-style course features deep bunkers, multi-level greens, and Dye-signature bulkheads.
