CAR HIRE INFORMATION

Having a car on a golfing holiday really is essential if planning to play several different courses and wanting to explore beyond your resort.

We have specially negotiated rates with Solmar Rentacar for clients arriving into Alicante or Murcia, and with Centauro for clients arriving on the Costa del Sol at Malaga. These rental companies only provide quality modern vehicles.

INCLUDED in all our holiday prices is car hire based on 2 or more people travelling (except in some self catering accommodation where prices are based on 4 adults sharing accommodation and car). See below for allocated car size.

UPGRADED larger and automatic cars are available at a supplement. These must be requested at time of booking to take advantage of the special rates. Please call 0870 756 9977 for details.

DURATIONS are based on one day = 24 hours plus an hour's grace on return.

RATES INCLUDE unlimited mileage, collision damage waiver (CDW), Airport taxes and theft protection and are based on 2 adults sharing.

AIRPORT RENTAL DESKS
Alicante & Murcia: Mon to Sat 08.00 to 22.00, Sun 08.00 to 14.00. Pick-up and Drop off outside these hours will incur a charge of 18 euros per car.
Malaga: Daily 07.00 – 00.00. Pick-up and Drop off outside these hours will incur a charge of 20 euros per car.

ADDITIONAL DRIVERS can be added at a charge paid locally. Additional drivers must be identified at the time of collection and added to the rental contract for insurance purposes.
Alicante & Murcia: 6 euros Malaga: 1st free, the 9 euros each for additional drivers

MINIMUM AGE of 21 with minimum of one year's experience.

MAXIMUM AGE of 79, Clients 71-79 years obliged to pay the insurance excess of between 4 and 6 euros, depending on car size.

ROOF RACKS are on request at time of booking. A daily fee of 3 euros (minimum charge of 7 days, maximum of 14 days) per rental payable locally.

BABY CHAIRS are on request at time of booking. A daily charge of 3 euros (minimum charge of 7 days, maximum of 14 days) to be paid locally.

PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE (PAI) is included in the car hire from Malaga, but not included for car hire from Alicante & Murcia. This can be taken out locally and paid direct to the car rental company. Many travel insurance policies include this cover so please check your policy.

IMPORTANT all drivers will be required to present a valid full British Driving licence and credit card in their own name. Cars are provided with a full tank of petrol and should be returned full, clients will be asked to leave a credit card deposit equal to a full tank.
