Located only 15k from Gibraltar on the coast, Alcaidesa is the only true links course in the area. The design and layout of the holes and fairways with its gorse and bunkers are reminiscent of some Scotish courses. Not overly crowded. Nearest Featured Hotels NH Almenara

Reopened towards the end of 2002 after some extensive work. The course is relatively flat and has several holes running along the beach next to the hotel. After a relatively flat first 3 holes the course becomes hillier, with gorged lined fairways cut into the hillside, and well guarded elevated greens that require some accurate approach play.
