The complete golf tour of South Africa. Start of in the lively resort of Sun City, before flying down to Cape Town, where you should make time to climb Table Mountain and explore the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Head out 45 minutes and you're in South Africa's celebrated Winelands, with its charming vineyards and stunning mountain backdrops. Any stay wouldn't be complete without exploring South Africa's coast and the Garden Route offers the most famous vistas. South Africa’s golf courses offer incredible value for money whilst being set amongst some of the most dramatic scenery in the world and a tour such as this combines the country's most famous vistas with a choice of world class courses.
Day 1
Morning arrival into Johannesburg, transfer to Sun City (approx 2 ½ hours). Afternoon free to explore Sun City…South Africa’s Las Vegas. Overnight at your chosen hotel.
Day 2
Breakfast. Morning round of golf on the Gary Player designed Lost City course. Afternoon game drive through the Pilanesberg Reserve – an opportunity to see the ‘big 5’. Evening at leisure to experience Sun City’s entertainment. Overnight at your chosen hotel.
Day 3
An early morning balloon flight over the Pilanesberg Game Reserve, followed by breakfast. Afternoon round of golf on the Gary Player course. Evening at leisure to enjoy one of Sun City’s many fine restaurants. Overnight at your chosen hotel.
Day 4
Transfer to Johannesburg for your flight to Cape Town. On arrival in Cape Town collect your car hire, or, alternatively transfer to your chosen hotel and have the hire car delivered (small extra charge). Rest of day at leisure to explore the famous Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. Overnight at your chosen hotel.
Day 5
Breakfast. Morning round of golf at Milnerton Golf Club, offering great views of Table Bay. Afternoon free to explore Cape Town, Signal Hill and some of its surrounding beaches including Camps Bay. Overnight at your chosen hotel.
Day 6
Breakfast. Morning round of golf at Westlake Golf Club. Afternoon visit to the summit of Table Mountain, reached via cable car. Overnight At your chosen hotel.
Day 7
Breakfast. Take a full day to explore Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, taking in the drive along Chapman’s Peak, a stop at Fish Hoek for lunch and then a visit to the Penguin colony at Boulders Beach. Overnight at your chosen hotel.
Day 8
Breakfast. Morning round of golf at Royal Cape Golf Club, the oldest in South Africa. Afternoon free to take a ferry trip to Robben Island, now established as a Museum and National Monument, and visit Nelson Mandela’s prison cell and the lime stone quarry where he was forced to work. Overnight at your chosen hotel.
Day 9
Drive to the Winelands region, round of golf at Spier Golf Club. An afternoon relaxing around one of the many swimming pools at the Village at Spier, visit it’s own Wine Centre and cheetah sanctuary. Overnight at the Village at Spier.
Day 10
Depart this morning for George, taking in the Garden Route and an opportunity to experience the stunning diverse scenery this coastal region of South Africa has to offer. Evening arrival into George and the Fancourt Hotel & Country Club.
Day 11
Morning round of golf on one of Fancourt’s championship courses. Choose from Outenique, Bramble Hill or Links. Afternoon and evening free to enjoy the delightful surroundings and facilities of this superb Country Club. Overnight Fancourt.
Day 12
Morning round of golf on one of Fancourt’s championship courses; Links, Outeniqua, Bramble Hill or Montagu. Afternoon free to enjoy the great facilities at Fancourt or a trip on the Outeniqua Choo Tjoe vintage steam train running between George and Knysna.Overnight Fancourt.
Day 13
Today you can either return to George for a flight to Cape Town and connect with your onward flight to the UK, or drive back to Cape Town for your return flight to the UK.
