Join us for a fabulous sporting break to 'The Big Apple'

We have put together what we think is an American sports lover’s dream: in the space of a week in New York you will see the men’s semi-finals of the US Tennis Open at Flushing Meadows, a Major League Baseball (MLB) game at Yankee Stadium and a National Football League (NFL) game at the MetLife Stadium, Meadowlands, on the opening weekend of the season. In between all that wonderful sport, we will show you around one of the greatest cities in the world and give you plenty of free time to do your own thing.

If anyone has a passion for 'The Boss' we have a few tickets on hold for his show with the E Street band in nearby Philadelphia!

Tue 06 Sep	Fly London to New York on Virgin Atlantic flight VS111 departing London Heathrow 11:30. Upon arrival at JFK at 14:25, coach transfer to the hotel for check in. This evening join your Tour Director, Martin Denyer, for welcome drinks
Wed 07 Sep	Morning Manhattan Tour - From the ‘Battery’ to the ‘Circle’ - 4 hour tour. The most popular part of New York City is the area between Columbus Circle and Battery Park. Within those borders are some of the world’s most famous places: the Empire State Building,Chinatown, the World Trade Center Site, 9-11 Memorial, Central Park, Grand Central Terminal, The Brooklyn Bridge, South Street Seaport, Washington Square Arch, Little Italy, Rockefeller Center and Times Square. Our tour with a private guide will include some walking around these important landmarks. Afternoon/evening at leisure. Option this evening to attend New York Liberty v Seattle Storm in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) at Madison Square Garden or see Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band live in nearby Philadelphia.
Thu 08 Sep	Day at leisure to do your own sightseeing, shopping etc. Late afternoon transfer to the Yankee stadium for the MLB Yankees vs Tampa Bay Rays baseball game
Fri 09 Sep	This morning we transfer to the Arthur Ashe stadium, Flushing Meadows to see both of the Men's semi finals of the U.S Open
Sat 10 Sep	Morning at leisure. This afternoon we take a private 4 hour tour of Harlem, followed by a two hour early evening cruise to see the Statue of Liberty and New York Skyline. Dinner included Almost a city unto itself, Harlem is one of the most famous neighborhoods in the world. Founded by the Dutch in 1658, Harlem was once farmland, and later, the center of New York City’s African American culture. Our fully guided tour explores the changing face of Harlem, with a special focus on the Harlem Renaissance of the 1920s and 1930s.
Sun 11 Sep	This morning we depart the hotel to join a “Tailgate” party at MetLife Stadium, Meadowlands before the opening game of the NFL season for the New York Jets against Cincinatti Bengals
Mon 12 Sep	Afternoon coach transfer to the airport to depart on Virgin Atlantic flight VS112 at 20:01
Tue 13 Sep	Arrive London Heathrow at 08:00
