Travel Options

Our packages are based on Eurostar’s high speed train service between St Pancras and Gare du Nord, taking you to the heart of Paris in just 2½ hours. Our prices are based on the train times shown below, however other trains can be booked at a supplement and will be quoted on request.

From the Gare du Nord you can easily reach your hotel by Metro or taxi. Public transport is frequent, on time and good value for money. To save time in Paris, we recommend you purchase a ‘Paris Visite’ Pass from St Pancrass International, which allows unlimited travel on all bus, Metro and RER express Metro systems.

Included in the Prix de l'Arc weekend price is general admission to Longchamp on Sunday. If you would like to upgrade to a numbered covered Grandstand seat (past winning post) we have a limited number available for £79 per person. Please call to check availability.  

Travelling to Longchamp

The renowned Hippodrome de Longchamp in Paris’ Bois du Boulogne, home of the Prix de l'Arc, is easily reached by metro and we will provide you with comprehensive instructions before you travel. Rather than having to leave your hotel early by coach, you can enjoy Sunday morning in Paris before making your own way, in your own time, to the race course.

Ibis Paris Montmartre - 2 Star

The Ibis Paris Montmartre hotel is a modern 2 star hotel in the heart of Paris, at the foot of the Sacré Coeur and 200 m from the Moulin Rouge. A 10 minute metro ride will take you from the hotel to the Champs-Elysées, the Gare du Nord/Est train stations, and the main department stores. The Eiffel Tower and the Stade de France are a 20 minute metro ride away. The hotel offers 326 air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, hairdryer, TV, breakfast served until noon, Café Bistrot, hotel bar, 24-hr snack service.

Mercure Montmartre - 3 Star

A favourite for sporting weekends, the Mercure is ideally situated when travelling by Eurostar and is close to Sacre Coeur and in the vicinity of Pigalle – home to the Moulin Rouge. A buffet breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant and an early/late evening beer can be enjoyed in the lobby bar. All rooms are twin bedded with private facilities, television, telephone and minibar.

Millennium Hotel Opera - 4 Star

In the heart of the city this elegant hotel is within easy walking distance of Paris' premier sights, including the Louvre, Champs Elysees, Notre Dame and Eiffel Tower. Bedrooms are air-conditioned with mini-bar, satellite TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel’s bar, La Bibliotheque, is a cosy spot to enjoy food from the Brasserie.

K&K Cayre Hotel - 4 Star

The perfect location for enjoying Paris as well as offering easy access to Longchamp. Hotel K&K is a lovely boutique hotel right in the heart of the Latin Quarter, within easy walking distance of Paris' many highlights and close to countless restaurants, bistros, bars and boutiques. All rooms are fully air-conditioned with ensuite bathroom, satellite TV, minibar, radio, phone, private safe and coffee/tea making facilities. Facilities include a breakfast restaurant and bar/bistro.
