Day 1 - Wed 6 April
Evening departure from London Heathrow on your chosen flight to Hong Kong.

Day 2 - Thu 7 April
Arrive Hong Kong and make your own way to your chosen hotel for a 4 night stay.  Optional airport transfers can be booked for a minimum of 2 people.

Day 3 - Fri 8 April - Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Rugby Sevens 2016  Enjoy a spot of sightseeing to get your bearings before its time to head to the stadium for the first round of pool games which start around 16.30hrs

Day 4 - Sat 9 April - Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Rugby Sevens 2016 The tournament kicks-off at the Hong Kong Government Stadium at around 10.30hrs and continues through to 18.30hrs.

Day 5 - Sun 10 April - Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Rugby Sevens - 2016 FINALS DAY The sevens party atmosphere will be electric today. The stadium will be full so arrive early to get the best choice of seating. Finals day kicks off around 09.00hrs with the final scheduled for 18.00hrs.

Day 6 - Mon 11 April
Departure day. Please settle any personal expences with your hotel and then make your way to the airport, allowing plenty of time to check-in for your flight home. Arrive London Heathrow early the following morning.

Airport Transfers

The best way to travel into the city is by Airport Express train. Running every 15 minutes you will be in Hong Kong city centre in just 23 minutes. Cost: approx £11 each way. On your return if you are travelling by Cathay Pacific there is also a free check-in service at Hong Kong and Kowloon Stations. Hong Kong Stadium

Situated on Eastern Hospital Road the stadium is just a 15-20 minute walk from our hotels in Causeway Bay.  Travelling from the Mandarin Oriental will take 30 minutes by MTR or Tram and a short walk from the closest MTR station at Causeway Bay. Seating in the 40,000 capacity stadium is 'free-seating' and is therefore on a first come first seated basis! To get the best seats you have to arrive early - especially on Finals day. You can buy all manner of food (including breakfast) and drinks at the stadium.

HONG KONG ISLAND

L'Hotel  4★

The L'Hotel is superbly located in Causeway Bay, close to Victoria Park, 20 minutes walk from the Sevens Stadium and directly adjacent to Tin Hau MTR Station which can take you to any point in the city. Decorated in a tasteful combination of East and West it has a very contemporary feel.

Hotel facilities include the Starlight Restaurant that offers a fusion of Western and Oriental Cuisine, the Tin Hau Bar and a rooftop gym & swimming pool (pool open from 31 March due to winter closure) with harbour views. The Metropark Hotel  4★ 

Always a popular choice for the Sevens, the Metropark is in the perfect position in Causeway Bay, 15 minutes walk from the stadium and close to the city's manyattractions.

Facilities include the Café du Parc restaurant, Vic’s bar with live music and a roof top gym, sauna & swimming pool (open subject to weather) offering stunning views of the city and harbour.

The Excelsior  4★

A member of the prestigious Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, The Excelsior sits in a prime position on the waterfront of Victoria Harbour, opposite the noon day gun andRoyal Hong Kong Yacht Club at Causeway Bay. The hotel is central for shops and street markets and conveniently located adjacent to the MTR station, tram and bus routes. 

One of the largest hotels on Hong Kong Island, The Excelsior features an extensive portfolio of restaurants and bars offering international, Cantonese and Italian cuisine and live entertainment. While our preferred airline for the Sevens is Cathay Pacific, many airlines fly to Hong Kong including Virgin Atlantic, British Airways, Emirates and Etihad should you prefer to travel with an alternative carrier. If you are thinking of upgrading your flights to Premium Economy or Business Class, the earlier you book the better the deal will be.
