With Ireland denying Wales a back-to-back Grand Slam last season, Wales will be going all out for revenge when they take on the Irish at the mighty Croke Park.

WEEKEND ITINERARY

Saturday 12 Mar: Arrive in Dublin and make your own way to your chosen hotel.

Sunday 13 Mar: Enjoy the build-up to the big match in a favourite Dublin watering hole. Make you way to Croke Park in plenty of time for the 2.30pm Kick off. Following the match it’s time to enjoy Dublin’s famous hospitality.

Monday 14 Mar: Time to check out and make your way to the airport for your flight home.

CROKE PARK

Croke Park has been at the heart of Irish sporting life for over a hundred years. Steeped in history, this landmark arena is the largest stadium in the RBS 6 Nations Championship, with a capacity of 82,000 people.  The stadium has three main covered stands and one end of terracing. Croke Park is situated in Dublin 3, North of the city centre and is an easy 25 minute walk from O’Connell Street. The ground is well served by public transport, with bus, rail and DART services taking you to within a 15 minute walk of the ground. Travelling by taxi from the city centre will take about 10 minutes although roads will be closed off close to kick-off.

 
 

MONT CLARE - 3 star

An ever popular choice for visiting rugby fans offering good Irish hospitality. The hotel has a great location overlooking Merrion Square and is a firm favourite for rugby weekends. Furnished to a high standard throughout, it offers a delightful restaurant and lively bar. All rooms are well appointed and air-conditioned and feature TV, radio, telephone, tea/coffee making facilities and private bathroom.
