SEVENS TICKET - £126
The Hong Kong Sevens is a sell out each year and must be one of the hottest tickets in world sport. The event is managed by Rugby Events Asia Ltd (REAL). REAL distributes tickets to overseas supporters through a limited number of Official Travel Agents (OTA's) who have the experience and know how to support and sell the event on their behalf. Sporting Traveller has been appointed as an OTA for the past 10 years and offers guaranteed match tickets under license to REAL. United Kingdom OTA's are listed on the REAL/HKRFU web site from when the event is launched in mid September. Many unauthorised Agents promote this event and claim to have access to official tickets…be warned as tickets may not materialise! Tickets from OTA’s can only be bought as part of a full travel package.

The Metropark Hotel Superior Medium Class
The modern Metropark is in the perfect position in Causeway Bay on Hong Kong Island to enjoy the Hong Kong Sevens (15 minutes walk) and the city's many attractions. All rooms are en suite with satellite TV, telephone, safe, mini bar, fridge and coffee / tea making facilities. Harbour Parlour rooms are effectively junior suites, twice the size of other rooms with a comfortable seating area overlooking the Harbour, complimentary breakfast, complimentary broad band access and larger bathroom. Facilities include the Café du Parc restaurant, Vic’s bar with live music and a roof top gym, sauna & swimming pool (open subject to weather) offering stunning views of the city and harbour. All in all a great base for the Sevens.
L'Hotel Superior Medium Class
Just 5 minutes from the Metropark, this new hotel is also superbly located in Causeway Bay, close to Victoria Park, 15 minutes walk from the Sevens Stadium and directly adjacent to Tin Hau MTR Station, which can take you to any point in the city. Decorated in a tasteful combination of East and West it has a very contemporary feel. Rooms are very modern with hardwood floors, en suite facilities, satellite TV, safe, telephone, fridge, mini bar and tea / coffee making facilities. Facilities include the Starlight Restaurant that offers a fusion of Western and Oriental Cuisine, the Tin Hau Bar and a rooftop gym & swimming pool (open subject to weather) with harbour views. Another great hotel for the Sevens.
Harbour Grand First Class
Perfectly located at the heart of Hong Kong Island, each of the hotel's rooms enjoy unobstructed views Victoria Harbour and the Kowloon Skyline. The hotel is istuated on the waterfront, only minutes from the MTR underground system. Facilities include five restaurants and bars, outdoor heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi, fitness centre, spa, massage, 24 hour room service and laundry service. All rooms have harbour views, airconditioning, flatscreen TV, DVD, telephone, high speed internet access, mini bar, tea / coffee making facilities, safe, hairdryer, iron and board.
AIRPORT TRANSFERS
The best way to travel into the city is by Airport Express train. Running every 15 minutes you will be in Hong Kong city centre in just 23 minutes. Cost: £9 approx each way. On your return if you are travelling by Cathay Pacific there is also a free check-in service at the Hong Kong and Kowloon Stations for your flight home. For more details see Airport Information.
HONG KONG STADIUM
Situated on Eastern Hospital Road the stadium is just a 15 minute walk from the Metropark & L'Hotel and 25-30mins from the Harbour Grand. Seating in the 40,000 capacity stadium is 'free-seating' and is therefore on a first come first seated basis! To get the best seats you have to arrive early - especially on Finals day. You can buy all manner of food (including breakfast) and drinks at the stadium.

The tournament kicks-off at the Hong Kong Government Stadium at around 10.30hrs and continues through to 18.30hrs.
Sun 25 March - Cathay Pacific/Credit Suisse Hong Kong Sevens - Finals Day
The sevens party atmosphere will be electric today. The 40,000-seater stadium will be full so arrive early to get the best choice of seating. Finals day kicks off around 09.00hrs with the final scheduled for 18.00hrs.
Mon 26 March
Departure day. If you are flying home today, please make your way to the airport, allowing plenty of time to check-in for your flight home. Arrive London Heathrow later the same day.
