DUBAI RUGBY SEVENS

Day 1 - Wed 3 December
Fly from your chosen airport to Dubai.  On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.  For anyone keen to explore, your first stop should be the tallest building in the world; the Burj Khalifa which has an unobstructed 360-degree view of the city, desert and ocean, making this the best place to get your bearings. Day 2 - Thu 4 December
Today is free for you to relax by the hotel pool, or head out and explore one of the fastest growing cities in the world.

Day 4 - Sat 6 December - 2014 Emirates Airlines Rugby Sevens Another full day of rugby action awaits starting at 9.30am. Today’s action culminates in the grand Final around 9pm which is followed by the ever popular ‘Rugby Rock’ concert. Make your way back to your hotel via the free Sevens bus service.

Day 5 - Sun 7 December
Time to pack your bags and prepare for the journey home.  You will be contacted locally and advised of your transfer time to the Airport.  

DUBAI STADIUM

From humble beginnings 44 years ago, The Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens has matured into a wonderful event that attracts fans from all around the world. The 7s Stadium is located about 20-30 minutes’ drive inland from Dubai City or the beach areas and is a world class purpose built facility that upholds the traditions of the original venue in that the stadium is purpose built each year and becomes the largest temporary stadium in the world.  There are lots of food and drink outlets open during the event, with sponsors Heineken ensuring the beer keeps flowing… Free shuttle bus transfers operate to/from the stadium from selected locations in Dubai, however we would recommend booking a taxi in advance (we can organise this for you) as large queues will form for the buses at peak times.

Beach Options

ATLANTIS THE PALM  5★

Located near downtown Dubai (5 minute taxi ride) and just a 5 minute walk from the renowned Burj Khalifa, the Marriott is famous for being the tallest 5* in the world. Spread across two iconic towers, it is both stylish and luxurious and has breathtaking views of the sea, the city skyline and the Arabian Desert.

Marriot Marquis features a range of 14 restaurants, lounges and bars and offers relaxing grandeur in the form of its Saray Spa and Health Club, including a gym, sauna, spa and indoor and outdoor pools.

Prices are based on Emirates flights from Heathrow traveling on A380 aircraft. Emirates also operate from Gatwick, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow.

Alternative carriers including British Airways and Virgin Atlantic are also available but due to flight times we would recommend flying a day earlier (Tue 2 Dec), arriving early morning on Wednesday.
