At the end of the day’s cricket or sightseeing, you’ll want to freshen up and relax in a hotel that makes you feel at home. On each island we will have a 'Host Hotel' (HH) which is where our celebrity cricket host will be based and where our welcome drinks and Q&A cricket forums will take place. If you choose to stay at one of the alternative hotels we are offering, you are invited to attend all Sporting Traveller functions and we will advise you of the best way to make your way to/from the event venue. Please ensure you read our hotel descriptions in conjunction with other tourist information for the areas you will be visiting.

Turtle Beach Resort by Elegant Hotels (HH)

Set on a stunning beach, this all-inclusive all-suite resort offers excellent facilities that allow you to be as active or laid back as you like. Turtle Beach by Elegant Hotels is located on Dover Beach, on the south coast of Barbados.  A variety of shops, bars and restaurants are within walking distance at St Lawrence Gap, while the airport is 15 minutes and Bridgetown about 20 minutes away.

Choose from three restaurants offering à la carte menus with tempting selections including refreshing smoothies and smoked salmon at breakfast and a deli serving all-day snacks such as paninis, wraps, burgers and pizzas. Enjoy sea views and elegantly informal dinners at the Waterfront Restaurant, which offers delicious dishes such as coconut-crusted mahi-mahi, or dress up for dinner at the excellent Italian restaurant. BARBADOS ITINERARY

Sat 19 Jan   FLY to Barbados
Arrive Barbados, complete customs and immigration formalities, and proceed to the arrivals halls where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. 

Barbados is stylish and sophisticated with all the coral sand beaches you could ever want to see. Bajans, as the islanders call themselves, are as West Indian as any of their neighbours and have tended to borrow rather than adopt English customs. You'll notice this the first time you visit Kensington Oval where the gentlemanly English game has a totally different rhythm. Nonetheless, there are old stone Anglican churches in every parish; horse races on Saturdays and portraits of Queen Elizabeth hang on many a wall. There’s plenty of action beyond the beach with hiking, golf, botanical gardens and historic plantation houses to explore.

How to book

When you have chosen the holiday you wish to book please call our sales team on 01737 244398 to check the availability of the tour. 

To confirm your booking we need to collect a deposit payment equivalent to 25% of the total holiday price. The deposit amount will increase if flights are added as the full cost of the flights needs to be collected at the time of booking. Our preferred method of payment is via bank transfer, quoting your invoice number (TSTXXXX) on all payments. Credit and debit cards are also accepted.   

Your final balance payment will be due 90 days before you are due to travel. The person signing the booking form will be treated as doing so on behalf of, and with the consent of, all the persons for whom the booking is made and is responsible for ensuring due payment of all monies.  Please ensure you return your signed booking form, together with a copy of the photograph page of all passports.
