Day 1 - Thu  8 March  Heathrow > Vancouver
Depart Heathrow on your flight to Vancouver. On arrival complete customs and immigration formalities and then proceed to your chosen hotel by airport taxi or train. Located between snow-capped mountains and the ocean, Vancouver's stunning setting is hard to beat and with winter temperatures milder than you would expect, it's comfortable to walk around and explore.

Day 2 - Fri 9 March     Vancouver
Walk, cycle or jog around Stanley Park before refuelling at one of the city's fantastic restaurants.  Explore the delights of Granville Island market and the historic Gastown district before soaking up the views in the picturesque waterfront area.

Day 3 - Sat 10 March  CANADA RUGBY SEVENS 2018 The 2 day festival of rugby kicks-off today at BC Place Stadium - provisional hours of play 9.30-20.00

Day 4 - Sun 11 March  CANADA RUGBY SEVENS 2018 The sevens party atmosphere will be electric today as the tournament reaches its climax - provisional hours of play 9.30-19.30.

Day 5 -  Mon 12 March   Vancouver > Heathrow 
Please settle any personal expences wiith the hotel when you check out. Enjoy your final day exploring the many sights and attractions of this delightful waterside city before it's time to make your way to the airport for your evening flight home.

Arrive Heathrow early afternoon.

Day 5 -  Mon 12 March  Vancouver > Whistler
Early transfer to the world class mountain resort of Whistler/Blackcomb and your chosen hotel. Regualry voted as the top ski resort in North America, Whistler boasts a wide range of ski terrain, excellent snowfall records and a host of apres ski options. Time to hit the slopes.

Day 6 - 7  Tue 13 & Wed 14 March
Enjoy two full day's skiing in this magnificent winter wonderland.
 

Day 8 - Thu 15 March  Whistler > Vancouver > Heathrow
Enjoy a lazy morning in the resort, book a half day ski pass or perhaps enjoy one of the many non-skiing activiteis on offer such as the Scandinave Spa, Dogsled Tour or Snowmobile Safari before it's time to check out and board the transfer bus back to Vancouver International Airport for your flight home. 

Day 9 -  Fri 16 March
Arrive London Heathrow early afternoon. 

Airport Transfers

The easiiest way to travel from the airport to your city hotel is by taxi and costs around $70 Canadian dollars per car, each way.  Private sedan transfers can be booked but are expensive at £120 per car, each way so we recommend a taxi transfer.
 

BC Place Stadium & Tickets

Canada Rugby Sevens is proud to call the magnificnet BC Place Stadium in downtown Vancouver, its home. With state of the art upgrades throughout the facility, BC Place is considered one of the most modern and technologically advanced stadiums in North America and has a capacity of 54,500.  The stadium is readily accessible from all Downtown hotels.

7s Reserved Seats are accessible from Level 200, are side on to the pitch and offer premium viewing of the matches. 

Vancouver Hotels

Westin Bayshore  4½ Star

In a city surrounded by water there are plenty of waterfront settings to enjoy. The Westin Bayshore has to have one of the prime locations in the city overlooking the busy harbour the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club and the verdent Stanley Park, all of which can be reached on foot with ease. The rooms here are modern in style with a selection of rooms featuring harbour and park views. The hotel has 511 rooms and is a 30 minute drive from the airport.
 

Four Seasons Vancouver   5 Star  

A touch of luxury in the heart of Downtown Vancouver, the modern Four Seasons is close to lots of great attractions. You’ll be one block from famed Robson Street and a few minutes from the Granville Island Market and the historic charm of Gastown’s cobbled streets, boutiques and restaurants. The hotel has contemporary bedrooms with city skyline views, an indoor-outdoor heated pool and an exceptional seafood restaurant. The hotel has 300 rooms and is 30 minutes drive from the airport.
 

Shangri La    5 Star

A true urban oasis located in the heart of vibrant downtown, the Shangri-La Hotel, Vancouver is just a stone’s throw from Robson Street, the city’s most famous shopping and nightlife district; the breath-taking seawall and popular Stanley Park are just minutes away. Rooms are amongst the largest in Vancouver and decorated in a contemporary style with distinct Asian touches, they all feature floor to ceiling windows and some open out to a balcony overlooking the city. How to book

When you have chosen the holiday you wish to book please call our sales team on 01737 244398 to check the availability of the tour.

To confirm your booking we need to collect a deposit payment equivalent to 30% of the total holiday price. When making holiday payments we encourage you to pay online by bank transfer or by debit card.  We also accept credit card payments but they will incur a charge of 2% to cover bank charges.

The person signing the booking form will be treated as doing so on behalf of, and with the consent of, all the persons for whom the booking is made and is responsible for ensuring due payment of all monies.  Please ensure you return your signed booking form, together with a copy of the photograph page of all travellers passports as soon as possible after your booking has been confirmed. .
